Enrollment Key - Don't Use The Confirmation Number

Hot Tip
On the "Enrolment options" page, you might have to scroll down to "Self enrolment (Student)" in order to type the enrollment key into the "Enrolment key" entry box.

Situation:
I'm trying to enter the course that I've registered for. I'm prompted for an enrollment key. I've entered the confirmation number, and can't get into the course classroom to take the class.

Solution:
After you register and pay for a course (in the CVENT payment system), you're sent an email containing instructions and a(n):
  • Enrollment Key - use this when trying to enter the course classroom for the first time. You'll be prompted for the Enrolment Key.
  • Confirmation Number - this is a transaction reference number associated with your payment and registration through the CVENT payment system. This is not the enrollment key.

I Didn't Get A Registration Confirmation By E-Mail

SITUATION
  • You registered for one of our courses using our CVENT online registration service, and you have not yet received a Registration Confirmation by email.

BACKGROUND
  • When you complete course registration through our CVENT online registration service, you should expect to get a Registration Confirmation by email within about 15 minutes.

LIKELY CAUSE
  • The CVENT online registration service reliably sends out a Registration Confirmation by email.
  • Most commonly, when the email arrives at the Registrant's email system, it gets misdirected into some location other than the Inbox.
    • For example, a Spam or Junk folder.
    • Some other email folder, because of the Registrant's email filtering settings

RECOMMENDATION
  • If you did not get a Registration Confirmation email within 15 minutes of registration, then:
    • Try looking in your Spam, Junk, and other email folders
    • If you still don't see it, give us a call, (415) 948-5220.

Create New Username & New Password - Then What?

Situation:   You weren't assigned a Username with Password, and you aren't exactly sure how to proceed.

Background:  An online course has been purchased, and you need to create a new Username with Password pair before being able to start the course.

Bottomline:   It'll take a couple of extra steps before you can begin the course.

Recommended Steps:
  1. You should already be on the learning system login page, otherwise navigate to the learning system login page (click this link)
  2. Think of a new Username and new Password. Remember them, you'll need them again. Enter them on the learning system login page, then click the Login button.
  3. The "Edit Profile" page appears.  Fill out the required fields, indicated by red text and an asterisk. Then click the "Update Profile" button located at the bottom of the page.
  4. The "Profile" page appears. Find the "Home" link (it's at the top left corner of the page, in a breadcrumb trail). Click it.
  5. The "Front Page" of the online learning site appears.  Scroll down the page, and locate your course. Click on the name of the course you're going to take.
  6. The "Enrollment Key" page appears.  Enter the enrollment key (you get one after paying for the course), then click the "Enroll me" button.
  7. Voila!  You're ready to start your course.

Enrolment is spelled wrong on the sign in page

Why is the word "enrol" misspelled on your classroom website.

Trivia:
Only in the United States, is it spelled wrong. The software developers are from Australia and they spell enroll and enrollment with only one "L".

Thanks for calling it to our attention, we accept all suggestions for improvement. You may also notice that the Categorize was spelled differently also.

Never got an enrollment key

I never got an enrollment key.

Hot Tip
On the "Enrolment options" page, you might have to scroll down to "Self enrolment (Student)" in order to type the enrollment key into the "Enrolment key" entry box.

Likely Solution:
Check your SPAM folder for an email from CVENT. If it isn't there go to the next step.

My enrollment key doesn't work
  • The enrollment key must match exactly as it appears in the e-mail confirmation. The enrollment key is not the word "exactly".
  • Capital letters must be capitalized, and lowercase letters must be in lowercase.
  • Type a space if there is a space between words.
  • If it has been a very long time since you logged into a course, the enrollment key could have been changed.

Don't use the confirmation number
If you're prompted for an enrollment key, and entered the confirmation number, you won't be able to get into the online classroom to take the class. After paying, our CVENT payment system should email both: 1) an Enrollment Key - use this when trying to enter the course classroom for the first time, and 2) a Confirmation Number - this is a transaction reference number. This is not the enrollment key.
