Problem: I try to view my CBT programs that I received on CD on my DVD player at home or at the office and it does not work.

Resolution: These CBT programs are not designed to play on a D VD through your television. They are designed for play on your corporate Intranet or from a CD on a PC.

I get an error message Illegal character or use alpha and numeric characters.

Problem: When signing in I get an error message that I am using illegal characters or that I should only use alpha numeric characters. What should I do.

Likely Solution:
That message means that you may have inadvertently entered a space-bar character or any of the following characters which are unacceptable for sign in: !@#$%^&*()_+-={}[]\?/"'<,>.:;

Use only a-z and 0-9.

In the upper left hand corner of the window click on GRADES.
If there is no grades showing and you know you submitted your exam for scoring, please call our office. We will need to reset the grade book.

How do I get a receipt?

If you registered on line, the receipt will be in your email or SPAM folder.
If you sent a PO, there is no receipt. The invoice is your receipt.
If you paid by check, there is no receipt. The invoice is your receipt.
If you registered with a credit card through our office, we will email to you a paid invoice with a credit card receipt attached.

How is my refund going to be processed?

If you registered via Cvent, the refund will be to the same credit card. It usually takes several days for the refund to show up on your credit card statement.

If you paid by check, our office will issue a check within a few days. It will be sent to the address on file with our accounting department, unless you send us an email or fax with an alternate address.

I need to cancel my enrollment in the on line class. Can I get a refund.

Our refund policy is as follows.

There is a $50 fee for cancellation if the student has not signed into the course.
Once the student has signed into the course, but has not yet viewed any course materials or taken any exams, there is a $100 cancellation fee.
Once the student has begun viewing courses, there is no refund.

Why is the word "enrol" is misspelled on your website.

Trivia: Only in the United States, is it spelled wrong. The software developers are from Australia and they spell enroll and enrollment with only one "l".

Thanks for calling it to our attention, we accept all suggestions for improvement. You may also notice that the Categorize was spelled differently also.

Likely Solution:

The enrollment key must match exactly as it appears in the e-mail confirmation.
Capital letters must be capital and lowercase letters must be in lowercase.
If after trying that, it still does not work, please call our office to assure that you did get the correct Enrollment Key.

If you set up your own Password, the Password must match exactly as you originally entered it.

Select a new Username, perhap add a unique number after the name.

The California Board of Pharmacy and the Department of Public Health each require that a SkillsPlus agent sign the documents in ink. As soon as you complete item # 8 we will overnight the documents to you.

You may edit the spelling of your name in the learning management system.
Log in as usual.
Click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the window.
Under your name in bold letters at the top center of the window click EDIT PROFILE
Change whatever needs correcting.

Our program works with Firefox. Be prepared to install Firefox Adobe Flash Player plug-ins. We have successfully performed this operation on a test PC in our office. We intentionally do not provide the link for this plug-in here so that your corporate IT team becomes involved in assisting you.

The class starts to launch and nothing happens or the screen freezes before anything happens.

Likely Cause: This can be caused by new security features from Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer. You might see a warning in the yellow bar at the top of your screen.

Likely Solution: Add the Adobe site to your approved sites. Follow these suggestions.

Click the Settings button to launch Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager.
Select Always allow
Browse to the folder where you store the published output of Articulate Quizmaker and Articulate Presenter.
Add both folder locations to the trusted content locations. (If you change your published output location, you will need to add the new location to this list.)
Close all browser windows and re-launch your e-learning course, presentation, or quiz.

Likely Cause: This can be caused by too many temporary files on your PC. This is a known issue when upgrading to Flash Player 10.0.42.xx.

Clear out the cache. This is easy.

This may be symptomatic of a dial up connection attempting to view the broadband files.

Sometimes the handout is a very large file. The printer may not be capable of handling the file size.

Likely Solutions:

Try printing it from another printer.
Try saving it to a CD and printing from another computer.

Likely Causes:
It may be that your corporate server or local Internet connection is experiencing significant data flow load.

If you are attempting to view this class using a dial up connection our server may be eliminating the video feed, so that you can hear the audio and see the bullets and still images on the screen.

Solutions for dial up connections:

Call our office to get a new web link to a special series of files for dial up.

Likely Solution: Please do not take this wrong, but here are some of the common problems.

Re-plug in speakers.
Check for a live power supply to the speakers.
To turn up the volume on the PC use the volume control or
To turn up the volume control via the control panel:
Click START (lower Left on Screen) and Click CONTROL PANEL
Click SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES
The MUTE box should not be checked.
DEVICE VOLUME should be set to high.

Likely Cause: Earlier versions of our CBT programs do no play nicely with Flash Player 10 or higher.

Certificates For GMP Classes

I want to print my personal certificate but the screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Likely Cause: This is symptomatic of having pop up blockers turned ON.

Likely Solution:

Printing certificates can take up to 3 minutes depending on your Internet connection.
Turn off pop up blockers just long enough to print the certificate.
You may need/want to check with your firms It group to assure it does not violate corporate policy. We would not want you to get in trouble for this.

Likely Solution:

The receipt was sent to the e-mail address that was used when the " ticket" for the class was purchased.
If you used a different valid e-mail address to sign into the registration site, the receipt has been sent to that e-mail address.
If you used a phantom e-mail address, you need to call our office to have a receipt re-issued.
Check your e-mail account SPAM folder the receipt might be there.
The receipt was sent from either CVENT or SkillsPlus. CVENT manages our secure online course registration service.
